All For Sale and Wanted postings must be related to 22RTE trucks and parts.

There are a bunch of rules for selling stuff on this forum. They are all intended to make this process fair, transparent, and to prevent buyers and sellers from being ripped off.

All sales are between private parties - ask before you buy, and caveat emptor. This site is not eBay or Craigslist, and there is nothing a moderator can do if a deal goes bad.

Listings on this forum are permitted as a convenience to our members. 22RTE-Trucks.com makes no guaranties as to the feasibility or utility of the items listed, and will not be held responsible for the outcome or failure of any sale that results from a listing on this site. If you have any doubts about buying an item, either suggest that the seller conclude the sale through a widely recognized third party, such as eBay, or don't buy it.

NO LINKS TO EBAY AUCTIONS! If you are selling, pick a price and stick to it. If you are buying, realize that some parts are harder to find than others, and those parts usually cost more.

CRAIGSLIST: If you are the seller, you can post or link to your CL listing, provided it has a clear price. Re-listing someone else's CL post is not OK

Finally, this is a forum to list private party transactions, not a backdoor to list commercial products or services.

If you are selling, use the following format exactly. Failure to follow this format will probably result in having your post deleted or locked. FILL IN EVERYTHING! If you can't provide this information, please don't sell in this forum.

NAME:
PHONE NUMBER: *Optional*
EMAIL:
LOCATION:
PAYMENT PREFERENCE:
------------------------------------------------------------------
ITEM:
PRICE:
DESCRIPTION:
PIC: *for truck ads, post minimum of THREE pictures... Exterior, Interior, and Engine Bay*

[The above requirements are borrowed shamelessly and gratefully from supramania.com]

The above rules are clear and should be easy to follow; please email an admin if you have any questions about our classified policies.

------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE, 4/5/2009: To make these transactions more transparent, all buyers and sellers that engage in a transaction originating from a post in this forum give their permission for their transaction to be reviewed by the other party in the Buyer and Seller Feedback forum. If you don't like that, please don't use our forum for buying or selling.

------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE, 4/3/2010: As Darin has recently pointed out, all For Sale posts need a price, and need to stick to the above rules. If you want to sell something auction-style, sell it on eBay. This For Sale forum is here to service our little 22RTE community, and its rules are pretty simple, and explained above.

I want to draw attention to two particular rules:

If you are selling, pick a price and stick to it. If you are buying, realize that some parts are harder to find than others, and those parts usually cost more.

This is a forum to list private party transactions, not a backdoor to list commercial products or services.

That's pretty clear, right? If you have questions or concerns, PM me or start a thread so we can talk about it, but otherwise please respect the rules as they are posted.

Ugly, but probably worth reading: Jeff's 22R-TE Page
Just sayin': If Ronmar and I both post on the same topic, listen to Ronmar! His answers are typically better and more accurate than mine. Cheesy
