Hi all - Welcome back for the second time this month!

I apologize for the inconvenience of the site being offline. The site was down for technical reasons, but it didn't help that I was of offline for two weeks (camping and travel). Once I got back, it took a while to get things sorted out. That's resolved, and the site is now back up. Huzzah!

I was told this unit was designed with AC brackets in mind, I ended up using studs and shims. I would offer this is black only but offer two versions- one with the Cherry threaded sensor as this would be a more universal fit. One concern is I had the trigger wheel already installed at a 90 deg angle to TDC- this bracket is not 90 deg. Otherwise happy with the results. Dave

Well it sounds like black anodize will be the popular choice. I will also have other options available such as stand-offs for non A/C application and different versions for using sensors other then EDIS. That however will be later on this year. First I have to finish getting everything together and doing the CNC conversion on my mill.

I am glad to hear you are happy with the results Dave.

  Well it's been awhile since my last post. So I will fill everyone in on whats been going on . I am still dealing with the faulty Y-axis ball screw.
the company I bought the cnc conversion kit from wasn't much help and I have had to order in my ball screw direct from the ball screw manufacturer
unfortunately it will be a few months until I have it in. BUT that doesn't mean I am doing nothing . I am now in the process of designing the bracket
to work with the hall effect sensor sold by diyautotune ( sorry not the adjustable one ). 
  Also I was at a buddy's drag race shop the other day and after seeing the ignition setup on his car (  a Dart block Chevy V-8 ) I asked him why he still
ran a distributor. He then informed me that although he still uses a distributor to tell which cylinder to fire it's actually using a crank mount trigger ( MSD )for the timing thus eliminating all the slop
associated with timing chains and cam to distributor drive gears. So I naturally got to thinking since the
Toyota ignition uses a V.R. sensor I could use the Ford edis sensor with a trigger wheel that has only 2 teeth. This should allow a person with the stock efi computer
to utilize the accuracy of a crank trigger but without having to install an aftermarket efi .

  So I guess my biggest question is this," Is the crank trigger with distributor idea something the 22RTE people interested in"?

The SBC gen 1 is a bad example- he needs the dizzy to run the oil pump too. I would have been interested in a clean dizzy unit with one sensor mount. I cut off the top of the oem cap and used JB weld to make a new top.
