I used to have the little GT25r that came with the LCE kit and then I upgraded to the GT28RS.  It matched the stock boost RPMs way better than the GT25r.  The GT25r would push boost at around 1800 rpms which really isn't that great for gas mileage.  Luckily it wont push much more air than the stock so running it on a stock ECU is no issue.  Other than that the kit went in pretty easy and everything lined up great.  My thumbs are up to the LCE guys especially for their return services.

Any thoughts on the New LCE RTE manifold? I have 2 crack free stock manifolds and  1 professionally weld repaired.

If it's the Steed Speed manifold, you won't find a better built, longer lasting piece...   Are they offering a manifold for the CT20?

dcg: Yeah, LC engineering offers a CNC version of the stock manifold.  Pretty slick, piece for people who want to run the stock turbo for whatever reason I guess.

By the way, does anyone know what kind of turbo the TEC kit used?  I think its a T3 sized unit, but not entirely sure.

I bought the TEC kit and was disappointed, no instructions, fitment don't look right. Its up for sale, never installed. Also I have a crack free manifold for a bonus thrown in.

That's a Leen (Steed Speed) manifold.  I can tell by the construction.  It'll be an excellent piece.

What would be so hard for them to offer the same item with different turbo  flange options?

I would guess that you could custom order one with a different flange, since LC says they can do it for the other Steed Speed manifolds.  Might just take a little longer.  They probably didn't mention it because most people changing the turbo would probably want to just go to the regular manifold for the better design.  I'm guessing you would want it to look somewhat factory for visual inspection purposes?
